Best Budget 4K TV
Television has been a major factor in our culture since its invention in the early 1900s. Since then, customers have been searching for the next new trend that will further improve their television viewing experience. The first major innovation came with the switch to color television in the 1950s. From then on, innovations have led to televisions with better image resolution, internet connectivity, and 3-D capability.
One innovation that is hot on the market right now is the “4K” television. This captivating resolution can be found across various digital medias and on a standard television. “4K” refers to a television with a horizontal resolution at 4,000 pixels.

First up on our list is the TCL 43S405 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV. While we recommend the 43-Inch model of this TV thanks to its price, you can also purchase it in a size of 49 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. We personally chose the 43-inch model – without the digital antenna – because it is the most cost-effective option out of all of them. To be fair, though, any of the options will keep you in your budget.
The Smart functions on this TV allow for you to access 4,000 streaming channels. With the help of a Roku TV, you can even access 450,000 options of movies and TV shows. All of this is viewed on a screen that is direct-lit by LED lights so you can view in excellent quality. A refresh rate of 120Hz also means that your favorite action movie won’t have any blur to distract from its best scenes.

In the same category as the last budget 4K TV we looked at, up next we have the TCL 40S305 40-Inch 1080p Roku Smart LED TV. This TV is available in 5 different sizes; 28 inches, 32 inches, 40 inches, 43 inches, and 49 inches. Of course, the smaller you go, the more inexpensive TV. For this selection, we chose a mid range TV that doesn’t sacrifice its living room size for a more attractive price tag.
The first thing you may notice about the TV thanks to its name is its Roku capability. This allows your TV to use a Roku to access streaming channels without any problem. These channels can be viewed with a native refresh rate of 60Hz and an effective refresh rate of 120Hz CMI.
Included with this TV is a remote with batteries and a power cord. In addition, though, you can also connect a variety of devices to your TV using either 1 of 3 HDMI ports, a headphone jack, and an optical audio out.

Once again, you can get this in several sizes including 43 inches, 49 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches. However, as you might have guessed, we went with the smallest option thanks to its price tag.
The refresh rate on this TV is 120Hz. So, much like the other TVs we have looked at, you will be able to view any action movie you want as it was intended rather than obscured by a motion blur. This TV also has Smart capability and you can even have it installed by an expert if you would prefer.
Once again, you can hook up a variety of different devices to this TV. This is thanks to a variety of features including 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, 1 RF, 1 component, 1 composite, 1 optical, and even an Ethernet cable.

This Smart TV has Ultra HD, meaning the picture quality you get is fantastic and will do any movie justice and show it as the directors and producers intended. This is further helped by a spatial scaling engine and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Furthermore, when it comes to the picture on this TV, it is also powered with LED backlight. With 12 active LED zones, you won’t have to worry about any spots on your TV being any less dark or brilliant than others.
